I haven't posted in a while because it has been a whirlwind. On Thanksgiving at 7 weeks 4 days, I began cramping. I thought maybe I had been too active and rested the rest of the day. The next morning I was greeted by dark blood and red urine. My RE said to rest, drink plenty of fluids. It got less during the day. The next morning, more blood, this time with brown and pink. I continued to rest, drink fluids. The following morning there was quite a bit and it was bright red. We were flying home that morning and decided to go to the ER as soon as we got home. Of course, our flight was delayed and we didn't get home until the following day. By then, the bleeding had stopped. I called my OB and when I described the amount of blood, she ordered an urgent ultrasound. Praise The Lord, all was well. Both babies progressing well with good heart rates. Then, I bled again last week. Quite a lot. I had an ultrasound yesterday and all is well. I have a very vascular area at bottom of uterus and we think that's what's bleeding. Praise The Lord, everything is good, both babies measuring perfectly with good heart rate. I am 9 weeks four days and being released to OB now. So, if you bleed, even with cramping and bright red blood, there is still hope... it has been so scary.
