Marine Girlfriends Community Group
As Marine girlfriends, we know how hard it can be to face boot camp, training, and deployments. We face many lonely nights, and we know how to be strong on the outside when we are crying on the inside. We have unconditional pride for our men in uniform, and we are always faithful. Semper Fi! This group is for us to find support from others facing the same challenges....
new usmc boyfriend just left for bootcamp
hi my names tiffany, my boyfriend just left for usmc bootcamp training and we've never spent more that 2 days apart. hes become my rock through hard times and it hurts not having him here, considering our goodbye was also very rushed and all i wanted to do was hold him for all of it because he cried... and he never cries. ive realized i cant keep busy all the time, i was okay for the first few hours until i realized that something was missing or wrong, and its was i wasnt talking to him. its honestly very painful. everyone says 3 months is a very short time but honestly its really not. im enlisted too and im also very scared we'll go our seperate ways once i go into bootcamp. its honestly getting harder by the second, not sugar coating shit, i went to the mall today for an interview and i couldnt even keep calm (so much for keeping myself busy), because every time i looked to the side of me i saw him doing this awkward ugly bop he does when hes really happy to see me, and when im in theĀ mirror, i see him grab me from behind and try his best to irritate me. so i really cant be in places we've been for a long time or i'll start crying. i wish he waited so we couldve gone to bootcamp at the same time. i miss him so much already. but i can start working on myself, hes always been my little cheerleader, in no matter what i did he was always cheering me on. its hard to keep motivated when the one person whose rooting for you always is gone. everything i do reminds me of him, down to driving down the block listening to his music i hate, but im proud of him. three months is nothing compared to the life time we'll spend together (saying that is what keeps me motivated)
