Hi guys! I am a new marine girlfriend, my boyfriend literally just shipped out to Parris Island yesterday! I am so happy for him but I miss him already....I was told I’m going to have to wait a week, maybe even two before I get his platoon number to send him letters (I have the rest of the address)....I have already written one letter but I’m worried that he’s going to think I don’t care or I don’t miss him since he won’t be getting the letters I write until a way later date?? Like I want to be able to reassure him that everything is okay because I know boot camp is hard. I know he needs the support
