Hi everyone, my name is Susan and I am new to this ( a friend linked me this support page ). I went to see my boyfriend one last time before he got shipped off to bootcamp earlier today 9/18 and I've been crying nonstop for the past week and just want someone to talk to who is going through the same thing / feeling the same as I am right now, devastated.
Im Alexis, my boyfriend left for marine bootcamp as well in August. Let me tell you its so hard! I cried all week the first week and now its been a little over a month and i cry occasionally. Its so devastating becuase you are used to seeing them everyday and we've been together two years, never a part. Im so angry at him for leaving but i know its something he needs to do for himself. Just keep writing letters and dont hold back how you feel in them! Ive told him how angry ive been and how happy and he loves to hear it all . Dont hold back your feelings to him or else youll drive yourself crazy, trust me!
