We have been ttc for a year now. I first struggled getting off adderall and bc. I gained 30lbs, my hair fell out and I was super moody. Every month I have been tracking my cycles, BBT and OTK. I also cry every time I get my period. Recently we went to a fertility doc and I spent weeks doing blood tests and the other invasive tests. My husband did a sperm test. The results were shocking. My super health conscious hubby has 20mil count and 3% motility. We were devastated. The doc started talking to us about IUI. We were convinced that we change our results naturally. My husband begged me to avoid seeing a urologist for a few months while he focuses on lifestyle changes. I want to support him but I'm disheartened. After I spent many visits getting poked and prodded, he wouldn't make an appointment. I finally convinced him to see the primary doc to get bloodwork. We just found out he has very low T. We are on a waiting list to see a urologist. I want to be positive for him. We hope we can resolve the underlying health issues and will get back on track. In private I'm devastated because I can feel myself ovulating each month and there is nothing I can do about it. I am surrounded by friends with babies and have a difficult time being around them. Even when the kids aren't around, all they do is talk about motherhood. How do I stay positive for my hubby when I feel so broken? Is there even a chance he can increase his count significantly through natural remedies? He exercises, eats healthy, doesn't drink or smoke.
