Lying Community Group
For those who have very deep problems that associate them to lie to those that they love and know. If this is one of you, please join.
Hey y’all, my name is James, I just joined up, and I definitely have more than a few issues with lying. For a couple of years now, I’ve found that telling the truth makes me uncomfortable and that lying is just easier. I typically lie to keep others at a distance, so they never get close enough to me to find out that I’m lying. But I also start to believe the lies that I’m telling people until reality starts to get a little fuzzy. So basically it’s just a kind of downward spiral.
Anyway, I’d really like to move past this, but I’m not sure exactly how. (Other things I’ve tried in the past haven’t seemed to stick). So I’m open to any suggestions that people have! Thanks.
I'm in a similar situation and have just started the process. I'm in counseling and I'm getting ready to try hypnotherapy. I've heard good things about it. I really think lying is a multifaceted issue and that you need to hit it from all sides. I'm dealing with issues stemming from childhood. So, there are a few different things that I'm needed to address in my life. It's crazy how we can get so far in life without having to deal with issues. This is something I should done along time ago. Thanks for your share m8!
