Lupus Warriors Community Group

This group is for people who have lupus or may know someone who has Lupus. I am 26 yrs old and I have SLE. I want to have a place where we can vent, exchange ideas, and give support to each other. I want this group to be home for everyone. We do not judge, but try to bring support to all. If you are newly diagnosed or had it for a long period of time your welcomed.

hey guys, I was wondering if people really support each other on here? Because I’m in  need of some support.. I’m 27 and I’m the only one in my family to have this. I’ve lived with lupus for 11 years this December and I accepted the life it would bring. But I haven’t meet anyone with Lupus that’s my age or close.

Hi! I am 25 and have lupus too! I am also new to this support group thing. How are you doing? I feel like I don't see people on here that our age often so it is refreshing (and saddening) to know that there are people out there who are young and have lupus. Have you sought any other support?

I'm new here as well, I'm 34 and multiple autoimmune diagnoses. Lupus being one of them. I really have no support and I feel its getting the best of me. I have 5 demanding kid's who do not seem to understand. My life has changed. And findings Drs who really care seem to impossible.

Hi all,
im 39 ive had lupus since at least 1995. Long time. i have been in a pretty good position with lupus where i only needed to have pain meds for the occasional flare up and avoid the sun. Things are changing.

im getting the rashes, the butterfly thing on the face, burning skin and joint problems. This sucks. once i get the hang of my life with certain set of limitations, things are turned around again. i do have a great doctor. she cares and shes knowledgeable and if she doesn't know she will refer you to a different doctor.

This a very hard to manage disease. Can't see it most of the time.

im new to this group ... as for sharing. i recently am back for the support.

You are not alone.
