Living with Lyme Disease Community Group
The purpose of this group is to help Lyme sufferers develop a support system for themselves as they go on this lonesome journey while suffering with Lyme. Governments and the medical establishment seem to have washed their hands of this problem. The way it is now, we have to find our own ways of coping with this disease and thus surviving and ultimately getting healed. We...
growing on their property. It's good your wife looked it up.
I have taken it as part of the protocol that Stephen Buhner writes about. . Maybe you're familiar
with his book, "Healing Lyme with Herbs." ? There are 500 mg of it in his capsules which are
part of his core, LB protocol. He has instructions for starting out slow and building up. There's
also Cats Claw, astragalus and other herbs in the capsules too. I'm not taking it right now but
have in the past. I ordered mine from Green Dragon Botanicals in Vermont. Yes. It's always good
to start out slow when you haven't used something before and see how your body reacts. In
your case, ti does sound like a herx reaction. Most people agree that this is a positive thing that
promotes healing. I'm glad it tasted good.
Wife and I just got back from the knotweed patch and she collected about 10 lbs of fresh shoots, We will end up freezing most of them. I dug up 4 colonies of roots which we will grind up to make our own tinctures. We will see how this goes. She has been taking the tinctures she made last year but that did not last long because last fall was the first time we did any experimentation with the plant. I can tell you we have so much of this plant on our property that we could call it our own private knotweed farm.
Minutes ago, wife steamed up 6 shoots in total and we had 3 each. This is way less than several days ago when i was sick from them. I know that the herx i had last time from them was rough on me and so i was very careful not to have any more than 3 shoots. I will report later how that will stay down over the evening. xfmlg
