hi. I was just recently diagnosed with HPV. I am also pregnant..I found out when two of my Pap smears came back abnormal.. I had a colposcopy done (no biopsy) and I hadn't noticed genital warts but two days after that colposcopy I'm pretty sure I do.. my OB did not say that he saw any. I asked if saw anything abnormal and he said no just that my vagina looked red inside. I'm scared for myself and for my baby.. can someone please give me any advice to help ease my pain I'm so worried :( also is there anywhere I could post a picture of my warts and anyone could tell me if that's what it is..?
I first found out I had hpv when I was pregnant 15 years ago and it’s still an ongoing process. Don’t let that scare you as most people don’t have the cancer agressive type as I do. It is a very slow growing process from abnormal cells to cancer. Please relax and enjoy your pregnancy and also know that having a baby is a good way to clean out a body and possibly remove the abnormal cells!
