Living Lesbian Community Group
I wanted a group were lesbian women can get together and chat and just have some fun. No men allowed please!!!!! So come on in and sit down and enjoy yourself.
oK, I am going to be 17 in two weeks, so basically Im 17. I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find lesbians. Ok, to elaborate. I live in a very religious town, and last year when I came out to my family, and now dont give a shit who knows, a whole handful of chicks at my school came out and now no one knows Im gay, but they knwo that they are all bi.
Its bullshit because they all ended up being friends with my ex friend and he liked to spread lies so they all hate me. No chance there. The only other lesbians or bi's my age, I found online and Im NOT doing another online relationship. I have no idea what to do. I frikin hate that there are no GLBT areas around here, no safe zones or anything!!! Any suggestions what I should do? This is the only place I can go where there are lesbians or bi's that can talk to me about what Im going through!!!

You may just have to hold out till you are old enough to care for yourself financially... at least 18, or till you get to college in a big city. When you pick a college pick one where there is a bona fida GLBT community. Many of us grew up in small towns where there was little support for gay folks.
I think in spite of your bad experience on line, the internet is the way to go. Don't expect personal relationships there tho. Find sites that are about supporting you as a whole person.
At 17 you are just one year from emancipation!!! Things will get so much better then. Get outta that little town!!!
