Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
um...liars anonymous does not have a link to a 12 steps that it uses. was you thinking that you could work e12 steps from like a codepndence 12 step book you could buy it on amazon or something? or like another 12 steps book group from like alcholics anonymous?
we don't use one here, but they have that daily checkiin list post, which a lot of real longtimers seem to use to some success, at least they don't come in complainging that they lost everything they havest by lying anymores. and they lihey list their successes with like no lyiings.
anyways, we lies here no more...maybe one of us needs to start a book called that.
And the step work is the same for any addiction aswell, I personnaly recommend the big book of AA as a first lecture, it will help you immensely along with sponsorship if available to get the guidance needed to work the steps.
Best of luck!
We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.
Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
Having had a spiritual experience[11] as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
