Well, there's no specific method to the madness, but this is a discussion board and if you have questions or need to rant about something, or want to tell us your story, we are here to listen. You can also read through people's past posts to see what others have written.

Hello there! I am one of those who used to post here on a fairly regular basis, but have been rather silent of late. Like Laura has suggested, read through old posts, and you will most likely see your story somewhere in there. Even though I have not been commenting or posting anything recently, I do check in and read what others have posted. I find that it helps keep me on track and retain my focus on being honest and truthful. One of the things that I have slowly come to realize is that by living life in an honest manner, I have found my real life again. When lies were my daily norm, I did not see how they completely shrouded my 'real' life from me. I had convinced myself that the life created by my lies was my 'life'. Now that I have been able to confront my past web of lies, and am dealing with the consequences and repercussions brought about by them, I have re-discovered the life I had buried under my lies. By freeing myself of the bonds imposed by my lies, I have found what I did not know I had lost. I am enjoying such simple things as going for a run without having any worrying thoughts about how to hide my lies with more lies, or just sitting on the porch listening to the birds and frogs in the evening and enjoying that moment in time with nothing hanging over my head. I still have to remain ever watchful of my behaviour and always think about what is about to come out of my mouth, but life is better.

Hi Greg, I have just joined and am at the very start of my journey. I am in a relationship and causing so much damage, I have done some reading up and the general consensus seems to be for my partner to run to the hills which she is very close to doing.
It is very encouraging to hear from someone who is going through this and is fighting to come through it. It gives me hope and the courage to take another step.

I think It's possible that I'm in a situation similar to yours. Know that there are other people going through what you are going through and I'm always around to talk.
