A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
Sometimes I tell myself that a lie, especially a "small" lie, isn't that big of a deal. e.g. "Who cares if I actually didn't remember to take the trash out last night? I'll do it now and she'll never know the difference."
When my wife catches me lying and gets hurt about it, sometimes I feel like she's overreacting.

I've looked up and down for ways to learn to become more empathetic, and less selfish, so that I could feel how my wife felt about my dishonesty. As simple as this blog/article was, it really highlighted the feelings induced by my lies.
