Rough day today. Didn't lie today, but more tough truth's were faced today. Let go of what I thought was a friend, or at least that's what I told others and myself. The reality is I was harboring feelings for them for way to long that should not have been there. This also caused a huge rifr in my current relationship, that if I had been honest from the beginning would have never happened. Now in order to repair this I am going to have to face my demons more than ever. Day by day.

One day at a time, man. I had a very rough day on Saturday. The only thing that kept me going is sheer stubbornness. Continue the routine, do the work even if you don't want to, and keep going. It will get better with time.

In my case, my lying offered me a way to dodge consequences and avoid problems. Now that I've admitted some of those lies, I have to face all the negativity I ran from. It can be very overwhelming at times. Stay steady, push through, and keep going. You can do this :)

We do all have those demons, and the day by day, or facing those demons every day is a good way of remembering what we are trying to do, what we have done wrong, and where we need to change to get to where we want to be. Hang in there. Life gets better the further we get from the crap we have done.

The main reason that it takes so long to heal from what we are afflicted with is because it has become habit, second nature. It takes a long time to change bad habits, especially when the reason we started lying is to make ourselves look better, avoid confrontation or embarrassment, etc...

I am in the beginning stages as well. I keep projecting though, how life is going to be when I get this under control. Keep fighting! One day at a time...
