This is the time when it hardest for me. Anytime that I am scared or uncomfortable. I have a tendency to dance around the truth to get out of that situation.
I know it is wrong. When I am calm or feel like there are no consequences. I can be incredibly honest.
I have any easier time being honest with strangers or acquaintances than I do my wife of 18 years. This is why I am in the position that I am in right now. Help!
I start therapy tomorrow for it and I plan to be honest as possible about my problem because I know I need help. I feel scared because this will be the first time that I admit to another person that I'm a compulsive liar. I fear being judged, written off and thrown away because of the lies.
My career is suffering and so is my marriage because of this. I hope that therapy helps me.
