Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
To this day, between my shrink (not helpful), my priest (more helpful), and my dual path of making amends to those whom my lies have hurt and my trying to stop telling new lies (still a struggle, but getting easier), I'm making positive changes...
I guess what I'm saying is, is that it takes time and it doesn't (in my case) happen all at once. But I had to start sometime..
Good luck on your journey!
I recommend research, and lots of it. Understand your problem, and reach out on here when you have a tough day. This group has been a great source of motivation and support for me.
Absolutely we can help each other. It doesn't even make sense when I step back and look at it. If it cost $40 why do I say $25? If I can't remember something why make some lie up? I need to just say what's the point. I'm not doing anything wrong. It's like habit. Just blurt it out as it is. It's not like what I am even lying about
Is a big deal.
