It's a horrible addiction to have..my own marraige is on the rocks as a result of it. The best advice I can give right now is, make the effort, show you are trying to change, it's gotta come from within you, you did take the 1st step though..you admitted that you have the problem. Take it day by day.
jk1228 is Right...you have taken the first step. The thing with lying is that you have to want to stop. Once you've decided that you have had enough you can begin the healing. I too have lied to my hubby about our finances. What I have come to realize is that my problem was more than just the lying...I also was a poor manager of our finances and that's where the lies began. Right now I am doing daily devotionals that speak about what God says about lying. He hates it. With that being said decide today that you are going to do something that will guide you into you path of becoming truthful.
