Yesterday I found this site and decided I needed to join. I have lied my entire adult life. Infact, I remember lying as a small child. I believe it was a way to get out of trouble when I was small. Later the lying was to impress people or to make me sound better when I felt inferior to others. I then got into a sales job and that was a bad position due to the fact I felt dishonesty provided me with an advantage in sales. Ultimately I have lied repeatedly to my wife and it has created such a split I am not sure are marriage will remain intack. I know I must stop and I know that I lie due to my fears and my self esteem. I hope for your support and any ideas you might have.
