How do you stop? The 64 million dollar question. For each of us it will be different, but also similar in many ways. For starters, from an old geezer who has been working at it for a long time, look in the mirror and evaluate yourself, figuring out who you are. Recognize that everyone, including you, have strengths and weaknesses. Be okay with your weaknesses, and decide how you are going to work on them, to make yourself better. Also be okay with them so you don't feel the temptation to lie about them. But work on fixing them so when you are confronted with them, you can tell yourself or others that yeh, I'm not perfect, but I'm working on it. That can help a lot. Working on fixing them will give you confidence that you will become the person you really want to be. Well, that's my two cents. Hope it gives you something to think about. Good luck.
