I met a man eight months ago that I liked and thought I might’ve ended up having a casual relationship with him. I thought it’d be temporary and meaningless and it’s turned out to be the best relationship I’ve ever been in. We completely understand each other and I’ve never been this happy with someone, but I’ve been lying to him. I told him that I was a year older than I really am (we’re within three years of each other and both legal adults but I thought telling him my real age would make him a little uncomfortable). At the time, I didn’t think it would matter because I never thought it’d be this serious but now we’re six months into a relationship and I am so in love with him and I feel so guilty. This wasn’t the only lie I’ve told him either and at this point there’s no way to salvage our relationship. We have no future because of my lies but I don’t know how to be honest with him.  I’ve thought about ending it so at the very least he doesn’t have to find out about everything in some horrible way and hate me, but I don’t have the strength to do it. I’m so fucking LOST and the guilt is eating me alive. I’ve been lying my entire life and this has been my wake up call, but it’s too fucking late!!!!!! I don’t know what the fuck to do anymore.
