A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
I posted on another liar group a while ago and I was in very deep in lying back then. I feared it was going to damage my life and well, it did. I'm back here to share my story of how it went incredibly wrong and ruined my life. I still struggle with it, but now I'm fully ready to recover. I've learned my lesson. If anyone is willing to listen to my warnings and help each other heal this problem together, please comment. I am desperate for help and to know there are people like me out there! I want to be honest!
Welcome to the group - you have already taken the biggest step in stating your readiness to recover. There are many of us out here - I've been struggling with this addiction for most of my life it has destroyed friendships, family and close to destroying my marriage. I too am ready to beat this monster with every fiber of my mind and soul. We all have different ways of dealing with it - most importantly admitting to it and fighting it.
