Hi I am Doc and a compulsive liar.
I have destroyed my relationship with the woman I love. We are not together now as we both have ailing parents.
I am so thankful for finding this forum. I am in tears. I need to overcome this so we can be together. She says she needs time and I am willing to do what's needed.
This is step 1. My heart goes out to anyone fighting this. I am miserable and lonely without her. I text her as she said that was ok but only get small answers no true conversation.
I have apologized but she says sorry doesn't cut it anymore and I don't blame her.
We both love each other, she told me this. We have to find ourselves before we can be back together. Plus me stopping the stupid lying to her.
I look forward to any help and ideas plus will help and support anyone fighting for their true love.

How many kids in your family growing up?
Do you have any addiction issues?
Any abuse of you in your past?
I'm in counseling again and it's pretty bleak between my wife of 33 years and I. So much damage done. No trust any more fir her with me.
