i just joined after a long and prolific life of lying. Big and small I've lied about so much. I need help badly because after 33 years of marriage I'm about to lose it all due to an emotional affair and lying. I'm going to read some posts to see how it works here. If anyone wants to take me under their wing and show me the ropes I'd appreciate it

Ditto, I know the feeling and what you're going through. It's a compulsion and difficult to break.

Hey Lena. Thanks for the response. So how are you dealing with the compulsion? Curious to see if you have any addiction issues or any abuse against you by anyone? I'd love to open up a dialogue with you to see how you are dealing with the compulsion

Hi, i just joined also, I can empathise in your struggle I feel like I'm about to loose it all because of the same things. This is the first time I've reached out on something like this, I'm still reading through it all.
But I just wanted to say you're not alone in this, emotional affair and lying is hard but I want to believe I can fix this, I can do it. Its been a life time getting to this point, I can't fix it quick but i want to believe I can, so we can be better versions of ourselves.
