I'm ruining my marriage. I've caused much damage already and need to stop lying. I'm on the verge of divorce. Why am I so insecure?

Trust me I know the feeling. I was recently caught is a lie and I felt as if my hubby hated me. He wouldn't speak to me and we weren't even sleeping in the same bed or in the same room for about 10 days. It was horrible. The thing is is that our spouses love us for who we are even with all of our flaws. They want us to be honest with them because they know who they married. It is a battle that I have dealt with for years and it wasn't until this last episode that I decided enough was enough. We can beat this with a little support, determination, and prayer. I have been doing different devotionals that deal with what God says about lying and working within myself to fix this. It is a tough journey but we have already done the hard part and that's admitting that we have an issue. Stay encouraged!
