Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
I've never been one to look for support, perhaps that's one reason my lying has become such a burden. My partner of 8 years and I had a blow up last night over another one of my little lies. Insignificant little lies that I think help me at the time but always spiral and make things 100 times worse. I'm committing to being honest. I've stayed up for the last 3 hours reading why people lie, trying to figure out why I lie and trying to formulate a plan on how to stop it. So I put together a booklet. Information I've gathered, a plan to get better, poems that I can relate to, a logbook to keep track of everything I'm doing to be honest and to get better. Im hoping i can show my partner that im commited to being honest and getting better. That's why I'm here, my first venture into seeking outside help. Even in this age I find it hard to be vulnerable behind a user name but if I want to commit to getting better, I need to commit to a community that will help me be better. I need to commit to seeking help, even if its something I've never done or been comfortable with. So I'm going to do everything to be a commited member of this group. I will be posting daily about my on going battle and on top of that, I don't want to be a liar, But I'm going to try to respond to one post every other day as well (good community karma). I am LastLie, and my last lie was on March the 3rd, 2018 at 11:30 pm and I lied to the one person I love more than anything. I hope I can continue to call that my last lie.
