Hi, I am Kevin and I am a liar. I started in high school with papers I didn't want to do. People I was friends with it have run off due to lying. I am at the brink of loosing a good woman to a stupid compulsion to lie. I have lied about an intimate relationship with my ex while we were dating all the way through a wedding and our child being born. She found out an confronted me and I still lied for 6 months, right before I was to be on travel for 6 months I admitted it. I just got back from visiting family, and my older child from my ex and I charged $88and proceeded to lie about it and perpetuate things call in a fraudulent charge on top of it. I am done feeling like nothing is wrong with me. I am a complete piece of lying crap, and I want to stop and I need help.
Many of us have been where you are right now...and unfortunately the pain we caused to the ones we care about when the lies become public finally snaps us into reality and that threatens everything - especially the person that basically poured their life into you. The guilt and the pain is real....you have to make the decision to move forward in truth no matter how painful it is and the possible losses you may experience. It is not easy, it is an every day challenge to yourself. You have taken a big step...lying has become so easy to us we don't even think about it until the lie has been told. Hang in there...like my pastor said there is no situation that cannot be turned around. You got a great group of people here so you are not alone. KEEP POUNDING
