You took the words right out of my mouth,that sounds exactly like my story .wish I had an answer for keep fighting for her but all I know is we gotta find away to quit lying ,my girl suggested there is something mental with me she might b right

My fiancé says the same thing, that something is wrong with me. Sometimes I wish this were true, then maybe there would be an easier fix. I guess we all need to stop being selfish and consider the feelings of the ones we love. I think lying is a selfish act and by lying we are trying to spare ourselves embarrassment and having our loved ones be angry and upset with us. Maybe when we are tempted to lie we should stop and picture her face and what it would look like with the hurt we cause by lying to her. If she is truly the love of our life then we need to consider her feelings first instead of our own. We need to man up and just tell the truth. That way we only have to overcome what it is we wanted to lie about and not the lie also. Lets put in the work and stop lying. I know its easier said than done and I myself and in very deep but I cannot lose her.

Wow I can relate to you. THis is my issue too. I have runied my relationship with my fiance and I'm trying so hard to fix it. I just dont know how to. I'm actualy seeing someone to help me with my problem. I wan to stop i want to stop living like this. It's stressful

I am going through the exact same thing. I have ruined a long last friendship of six and a half years because of lying. She is my best friend and probably the biggest supporter I will ever have. I have lied and put us in a bad place. I am seeking counseling for it but I am not sure what I can do to help. She also has her own issues she stays very depressed all of the time and she has the worst anxiety issues and since she has caught wind of my lies she's even been talking about harming herself. I am going to make sure that never happens but in the meantime i don't know what can be done to repair our friendship

Hi know that feeling. I am married to a wonderful man. Really and he supports me. But the lying is killing him and me. I know i must not yet i lie naturally instead of telling the truth. Truth feels foreign to me. Things i do not need to lie about i do. I make things look better when in truth they are normal. I make myself look wow when actually i was not even there. Or i am not doing what i am say i am doing. The warning and crying and all that is making me lose everything yet it feel unreal. my fear is that i am going to loose my husband and then i realize the mistake and what if. I have come to see this as a disease and it, it is consuming me. My marriage as well as my family. Kill myself i have thought about it so many times that i lost count. I have three children and what example is that. I wanted to run away many times but to what end. It only follows you. I am Christian and this not something i am proud of yet in all my life i am struggling and no one understands this. They all say just tell the truth get a hold of yourself. Well i have tried still and failing miserably. Maybe i must just leave and everyone will be the better.

I really had. I really do want to stop lying but it doesn't seem like I can and I've felt the same way too. It stinks man it really does.
