Somewhere there's hope.
Five days ago I wasn't sure I'd ever have a healthy marriage again. I wasn't sure I was going to have a marriage at all. But since then we've both been able to talk freely and I stopped listening (and responding) defensively. I'm trying to own up and be quiet and stop before I act on the same old screwed up impulses. And we're doing OK. And we reaffirmed our love for each other. There's a lot of healing to be done for both of ua. But God is kicking my butt in a good way and I'm trying to trust him and obey. There is hope. Hang in there........
I wanted to marry her, we talked about it and a family. I hurt her beyond belief with my lies. I lied to cover up shame, my shame and my lies gave me anxiety and depression.because the truth is I did horrible things, and didn't want to be judged. I know you can't paint over a lie to make you look better, just because I want to feel better about myself. lying cost me more than I was willing to pay. I'm homeless, I lost everything. I lost her, but I've been apologizing repeatedly for the pain I caused. I'm hoping one day she'll forgive me and we can slowly rebuild a damaged relationship.she was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was fractured and riddled with guilt as I look in the mirror everyday, but it was all I ever knew. no one wants to say here's a hundred horrible things I've done, will you still love me. because everyone judge me before why would this time be any different. I was wrong. I should have just owned up and dealt with it.
