I'm new here a few days I've been active on here. I need some advice now. I've been telling my girlfriend the truth about how I feel for her for a while. She means everything to me. She really does. She makes me feel like the happiest person in the world. I recently looked up another girl on Facebook (the one I lied to her about before). This other girl and I we kissed a few times and sent some snapchats back and forth that where not good. But when we where doing that my current girlfriend and I weren't technically dating but I was telling her she was amazing, I want to be with her etc.. Now after this other girl is out of the picture. Let me state that I did not want a relationship with this other girl period. I was just being a guy and stupid. I really wanted my current girlfriend. And now when I think things are getting better she says we are over with now because I looked her up on Facebook. She says I still have feelings for her and I am just stringing her a long now. I should go after that other girl. I want nothing to do with that girl. I want everything to do with my current girlfriend and she doesn't believe me when I tell her how I feel, because of my lying in the past. This is breaking my heart. I'm being completely truthful with her and I want to be with her. I can see up being together in the future and I love her. I'm willing to do anything for her. I just am a wreck right now. I love her and I need some advice or something.

Dude, I know exactly how you feel. My story's not that different. I lied to my gf and I even cheated on her because I was drunk and dumb. But don't make the same mistake I did: don't rationalize this. If you do, then you're missing the point. Doesn't matter that you didn't want a relationship with this other girl, and it doesn't matter that you're being honest now as opposed to then. In her eyes, EVERYthing is a lie now, and she's doing what she needs to do so she can protect herself. If you really want to change things, you're not gonna be able to do it with your words. Your words don't account for a whole lot right now, even if they reflect the bare truth. So take some time, work on yourself. I know it sucks not having there, so take that emotional and turn it into energy to start improving yourself. I've starting cutting out all the bad things in my life, bad influential friends, drinking, all the stuff I was ashamed of and hid from her. Now I ride my bike, I see a therapist, I'm reaching out to my family that I had distanced myself from. Just start working on you, man, and if she really wants to give you a second chance, she's gonna wanna see that you've made some improvements. It may not be enough for her, but it also might be just what you needed and what she needed from you, so you can be the man she needs and deserves. Good luck, man, I hope it works out. Feel free to report back to let us know, if you want to.

I'm fighting to get my wife back too. I also know that all of my lies caused so much damage that there is likely no way that she will ever believe me again. Somehow, I have to have faith that I will have that chance again.

Thanks for the support. We are working on it. It's tough it's really really tough. I know if I continue with my changes this will get better. I know a lot of this is my fault, well it's all my fault. I still have a hard time dealing with myself. It's hard sometimes because I get really really down on myself at times. it really is hard, but I truly believe we can get through this. I believe in her and I. I believe in love.
