Hi, this is my first time trying something like this, is long overdue. I have ruined my relationship with my wife of 15 years through being unable to be honest with her. I lie without thinking of the pain and hurt I cause her or those around me. Please, I need some support and guidance on how I can stop this awful behaviour. I don't want to be this person anymore. I hope that this group will help me become a better person.
I found this link incredibly useful. I think it helps to read other posts daily and do whatever you have to do to always be aware of your addiction. The moment we forget we are an addict we are more likely to screw up again. You can change, it takes courage to face your fears but don't be afraid of the real you. And keep smiling!
