Let me be Me Community Group
A support group for those of us that need a safe place to share what ails us. Or what doesn't! This group is your group so you can be the person you really are, no need to pretend, no need to create some successful cyber image. Whether sharing our trials and tribulations, or our success's in life. Whether in sadness and needing comfort and support, or just...
Certainly do remember the routine..... wake up , make coffee, roll a smoke, feed Phomphery and light up.....
Car.... roll up smoke...... Phone.... roll up smoke..... I think breaking the routine is probably the hardest part of the quit joys......
He he..... I like the special bus..... 8-)
Love you bunches Sweet Lady......xo
I'm not looking for kudos on the smoking thing, honest.
Just trying to explain not participating like I used to.
But..yes...you're so right, Steve...the routines are hardest to change.
Especially that damn cup of coffee in the morning.
( I usually only have one with caffine any more) :-)
Anywaaaaay...just 'cause I'm not on as much doesn't mean I don't luv ya's as much..:-) :-)
I keep telling myself I will quit tomorrow, but there is always a tomorrow, lol. I have done so well in my recovery and made so many healthier changes, and yet this is the one I have not been able to conquer. Sheez!
I do not associate the computer and smoking, so I am safe there. But I do associate it with waking up. First thing I do. Gonna have to work on some ritual to replace that. And I associate it with eating, I grab one as soon as I finish a meal.
I would say my worst association is in the car. If I am driving, I am smoking. This will probably be my worst hurdle. Gum and lollipops!
You are an inspiration to me! I certainly have no excuse and I already have the chantix. Allrighty then! Let's see if I am this gung ho after a week, lol.
Way to go JC! I do not mind your absence since I know you are defeating this monster! You GO girl!
Sending hugs, love, and comfort.

I got an iPad because I can carry it outside for smoke breaks. On my last quit I walked and walked to get rid of cravings. I can't do that now nor can you.
Staying away from triggers is helpful for the first month or two. Also I had a real problem thinking straight the first month.
You are an inspiration and I am honestly thinking about a quit.
love and peace
Cooool AVI Mr T.....
I'm not going this at all well...
Quite the opposite..
And I hate it..:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
..I doubt that sentiment will ever change in the morning while I'm having my one cup of coffee..:-) :-) :-)
you are doing well, just shut up and say, thanks guys!
i know the pain, i'd want a pat on the back.. and a massage and some nice sushi dinners for about the first 6 months.
since we can't give you all that, don't know if you even like sushi, please excuse us when we say, "WAY TO GO!!" 'cuz we're just going to say that.
It is so difficult to resist temptation with that first cup of coffee or banging at the keys on the computer, one reason i have been so scarce, But for my health and to regain control of my life i need to quit.
Thank you for being so tough and so strong, You are wonderful!!
Love you!
