i am raising my family on the ground i was raised on.
when i was my boys' age , we were a small(but exceptional:) horse ranch.
my Daddy had a saying."the first day of spring is the day you get the tractor unstuck"
well...we aint a horse ranch anymore
we don't have a tractor anymore.
but................we (and by "we" i mean Jed)....still get stuck
the calender says spring done sprung.
calender is full of horse feathers................because right now.......at this very instant..........about 200 yards from here.................is Jed's tracto....er uh............pickup...............waiting for spring.
i have an appointment with my pain doc tomorrow over the hill.
me , Melissa and Eli most always make these trips together.........i can't drive it, Melissa likes to help me...........
...........and Eli.........well, the town my Dr. is in has a "Toys-r-Us"..........we go to my appt. hit T-R-U then go to Elmer's for fancy restaraunt food.................monthly vacation.
Jeddo usually gives it a miss because he has a girlfriend.
so..........tomorrow we will find out if it is true that "spring is the time when young men's hearts turn to...................................diggin their truck from the mud"

Spring! I am past ready!
Hope to trip to the Doc goes well Mr T..... n ya..... get too,.. a raisen them youngins, upright a bit more soon fella......
Oh the days of mud pies drying on a rock in the hot sun. So many good memories.
