you ever notice how you can be right in the middle of the house .........and be all alone?
they ask if they can do anything for you.
but if you are fucked up enuff to need it bad..........it becomes a point of resentment.
pretty soon they're steppin over you like furniture.
why is that?
does a person gotta be terrible fucked up themselves to have a lasting compassion for others?
my young boy never treats me like furniture. he has a tender heart.
i hope that when i was sound i did not have a brushoff attitude for the fucked up.
i don't think i did.

get too slow for too long............your just in the way.

I've come to understand that it is IMPOSSIBLE for others to "get it ".
..I even know that I would've been one not to.
I'm lucky to have a husband who still tries to make me feel a part of life.
But..I don't. I feel as if my life ended years ago..and I've had to be around to watch life go on without me.
..and that's WITH a supportive partner. So..I can't really imagine how lonely it is without that.
..we're lucky to have found each other.
