Kindness in a Kyrielle Sonnet.
As soft as a breath and strong as stone
It reaches the sky and warms to the bone
Blooms like a flower and sprouts like a tree
Kindness, the door, the lock, the key.
Taking no effort, no fanfare, no fuss
From the very first moment it ever was thus
It costs but an instant, and yet it’s for free
Kindness, the door, the lock, the key.
In the dark of the night and the heat of the day
In the glow of the smiles that light our way
It bridges the gap between you and me
Kindness, the door, the lock, the key.
As soft as a breath and strong as stone

I will always check in here when I get on DS. Often my rich imagination allows me to actually see a post started by our frog or big dog or jc. Deb our fearless one or J.C. would challenge a story.
The memories linger and I have never, ever been as honored to dwell in this room.
While in LA, and Carlsbad area this summer. I saw a Cafe named Broken Yolk. It was along the coast. We were on our way to catch a flight out of John Wayne Airport running late. Otherwise would have stopped. We will be back. Have timeshare there so next time eyes open. We will stop.
