I don't know what I'll do Thanksgiving. All my immediate family is now dead. My nephew will be busy with his family in another state. Probably will go out and have dinner and come home and watch some videos about other families having Thanksgiving. My mom use to have trouble cooking a turkey at home but she tried. I miss her, this will be my first Thanksgiving without her. I need to take my prozac.

There is a good movie called "Home for the Holidays" it stars Holly Hunter and is a comedy. It's on dvd and I checked it out of the local library, it strikes a familar cord with anyone who has had to go to their relatives house on Thanksgiving and had to deal with family members they would rather not see.

I had Thanksgiving at th erents house. For Christmas, just a nice, simple holiday. I was seeing a guy long distance...needless to say it didn't work out. I feel bad about it, but now we won't be making the effort to spend any holiday time together. I suppose it's best. You know?

I LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE "Home for the Holidays". It's one of my favorite movies. I love "relateable" movies. "Flirting with Disaster" is another one. "Moonlight and Valentino". Love them all...from "Home for the Holidays" ..."Spin, Mommy, spin!"

I try to watch both Home for the Holidays and Planes, Trains & Automobiles every year. Home for the Holidays reminds me when I was a kid and my uncle practically had to drag everyone over to his house. One couple he invited once arrived late and we couldn't eat dinner until they arrived and then they had a quarrel and the woman locked herself in the bathroom. The movie which is available now on dvd even has commentary by Jody Foster who directed the movie.

Stayed home and no one invited us nowhere for Thanksgiving that how people are in FL.

Remind me not to come to FL during Thanksgiving. But I think that's how people are, in general, these days. Instead of extending hands and reaching oout to others who might not have anywhere to go for the holidays, they stayed in their circle and invite the same people year after year. It's like High School all over again.
