Spanking leads to success
It's a simple fact of life: Even the best kids need a good spanking now and again, and a good parent shouldn't be afraid to deliver it.
The best spot is where grandpa did it -- right across the backside. WHACK! Trust me -- it's good for them, and a new study confirms that kids who get spanked do better than the little brats who don't.
That's right -- better.
Researchers at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, found that teens who had been spanked up to the age of 6 did better in school, were more likely to volunteer, more optimistic and more eager to attend college than those who weren't.
They did better in every single positive category measured by these researchers
-- and no worse on the negative ones.
Score one for REAL parenting -- and that means you can ignore the touchy-feely hippy parents who scream "child abuse" at the mere thought of good old-fashioned discipline.
Look around -- it's obvious their spare-the-rod approach has raised a generation of spoiled monsters and miscreants.
The bottom line on this: Parents have lost control of their homes and it's time to take it back. You don't have to get slap-happy...but don't be afraid to deliver a good whack when it's needed.
And don't feel bad about it afterward.

Spanhing is not mindless violence...it is called DICIPLINE. And alot of kids today need alot more of it. Time outs are a joke for most kids.
THE LAW WAS IMMEDIATELY AMENDED TO ALLOW SPANKING ON THE BOTTOM. I was hit too often and to hard when I was a child so I do agree with the law. I am a child of abuse. I do not have an addiction problem, I do not have a violence problem, I do not have mental health issues. I made my own choice.
I work as a correctional officer. No I am not a thug, I only weight 98 pounds. I do it because I can provide guidance and wisedom.
Our jails are full of young offender grades 18-25 years of age. They care about no one but themselves, the inmate code no longer exists. Yes, a decade ago they had a code of respect, like not eating on inmate justice day. Senior inmates got the phones earlier, you didn't mouth off when you first came in...yadda yadda....now it is all about them. The will stab their own mother in the back for a quarter then call her for bail and even worse...she shows everytime!!!!!!!
Parents need to discipline their kids. They need to talk to them, teach them morals and educate them. It is not the schools job nor the coaches job it is the job of the parent. Lord knows with all that the media puts out and they learn from their peers, parents have a bigger job than ever but they are LAZY parents. Don't even get me started on parents who don't say no to their child. Life is full of no they need to learn that, or you might as well just reserve them a cell in the jail now!
my daughter is a teen now, she does not drink, smoke, do drugs or any of those other things that parents dread. She doesn't even go out at night when it is dark, her choice. Why? because I AM A PARENT. I spy on her, so I know what she is doing. I also am not an idiot and tell her if she does do those things I would rather I know then find out any other way. I am aware she will make choices one day that I don't like, she knows that I will not be a foolish prude but accept that this is life and teach her to atleast make wise choices.
I am not saying parents need to be slap happy but they sure need to get their foolish lazy heads out of the sand!
