Seems very quiet here on this forum, since I was on the RA/Hypothyroidism forums, would start something up here also. I have been taking LDN almost 3 months now, so still a newbie, for my RA. Dropped Embrel and Methotrexate, and hope with a little help from prednisone ( 2.5mg twice a day) to make it to that 6 - 9 month period.
Would be interested in how others have done on LDN longterm,

I've been taking 4 mg for 2 months so I'm not what you call long term. It has helped a lot with my psoriatic arthritis. I wonder about long term use also.

Glad to have another person visit this forum, I noted no one has posted in over a year. Its wonderful you are already noticing an improvement, from what I've read, I could be looking at 6-9 months for a positive response to LDN. As to long term use, there are people, like Larry LDN, who have been on LDN for 15 years. I haven't heard any serious issues with anyone taking it, other than sleep issues.

Good to hear. I'm just starting my third month of LDN. Started noticing a lot (more than my normal) of hair coming out when I brush or wash my hair. Hope it's temporary.

I hope you're noticing big improvements.

I don't get here much any longer. Still taking LDN, since 2003, going on 12 years now.

Had a follow up MRI 7/13 showing NO PROGRESSION from 2007's MRI. My food allergies are still gone.

Hello! New here. 5 months on LDN, took it for Hidradenitis suppurativa, I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. No evidence it works for HS, but I've read it's effective for Chron's disease, and there are some similarities between the two, so I thought I'd give it a try. No improvement, though, And, yes, I also noticed my hair falling out much more recently, never connected it to LDN. No other side effects, there's been some vertigo in the beginning, but it went away. But now I'm wondering if I should drop it, since it's been a while and no improvement....
