Your Funniest Memory?

This is the time of year when lots of memories come flooding back.  For me, I do sometimes feel sad as it will remind me of those no longer with us .   But as i did recall several very funny ones I did think maybe sharing those with each other would bring more smiles to all our faces.......



I recall a family outing with my Mom's family at Dorney Park. My cousins and I went on the Scrambler. 


My grandmother went on as well.  As the thing did start to go faster, naturally you could feel the wind in your face.  Suddenly, we hear a scream and do search to where it is coming from.   My cousin and I do come to realize it is from my Grandmom as she clings to her head yelling...."Oh my God....my wig, my wig!"


Once we know all is ok, we cannot help but burst into laughter.  Each trip past her...still clinging to her own very messed up hair did also make the guy running the ride laugh hysterically.  As I recall, it was the very longest ride we ever did get in any amusement park.   Thanks Grandmom.    :)

that made me giggle too, my friend. My mother and I were watch the Smartie commercial, the one with the chomping teeth. "when you eat your smarties, do you eat the red one last" we laughed everytime we saw that. Another time, my parents and I went out for dinner. We ordered a margarita drink, my father thought that was a pizza so he ordered the same plus a beer. When the waiter brought us the drinks and wanted to take our order, my father just sat there, wondering what the hell was going on. My mother and I started laughing at the look on his face.

Great stories!

I remember going to cut down a Christmas tree with my daughter, friend & Barney our dog. It had been snowing so the field was slippery. I parked on a bit of a hill. We all got out, found the perfect tree, then all of a sudden my vehicle was sliding down the hill. My daughter & friend ran grabbed the back bumper thinking they could stop a rolling vehicle. I couldn't stop laughing & peed my pants. We laughed all day & still now, lol!

Those are both very good ones too. Atpeacemary....your margarita story did remind me of another when our family went out to a big seafood place when we were down at the shore one year. As we all were almost done with our meals, we did have to laugh as Dad admitted that his food did taste a little different. It seems he had swapped out his tartar sauce (on his baked potato) for the sour cream (put on his fish). We were also amazed how my younger brother did so love his shrimp...he all but licked the platter clean (Tails and all)....his comment..... "I thought they were a little crunchy."

What can I say.....WE DON'T GET OUT MUCH. HAHA
