Jim is putting his young daughter to bed one night. As he walks out the bedroom door, he hears her saying her prayers. She quietly says, "God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. Rest in peace, Grandpa."
Jim steps back into her bedroom and asks her, "Why did you say that last part about Grandpa?" She replies, "Because I needed to." The next day, Grandpa dies of a heart attack. Jim is worried about his daughter, but thinks it must be just a sad coincidence.
The next night, Jim tucks his daughter into bed and once again hears her saying her prayers. She solemnly says, "God bless Mommy and Daddy. Rest in peace, Grandma." The next day, Grandma dies, and Jim is now convinced that somehow, his daughter can predict the future.
For the rest of the week nothing happens, but on Sunday night, as Jim leaves his daughter's bedroom, he pauses outside and listens to her start to pray. "God bless Mommy. Rest in peace, Daddy." Hearing this, Jim is scared to death that he will die tomorrow.
The next day, Jim is a complete mess at work. He constantly checks the clock, looks around the room, and is on edge, expecting to die at any moment. He is so nervous that he doesn't leave the office until after midnight. Driving home, he feels a sense of relief and is convinced that his daughter isn't psychic after all.
After arriving home around 1 am, he walks in to find his wife sitting on the sofa, looking distraught. She asks, "Where have you been? What took you so long?"
Jim replies, "Listen, honey, it's been a rough day." He is just about to tell her what made it so difficult when she bursts into tears and says, "The mailman died yesterday."

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...
