Hey everyone, I'm new to the group and was told that everyone here is very helpful and open about their stories. I am research the option of surgery, my Doctors have given me every medication under the sun and they are no longer working. I was curious to how many of you have accidents because you "couldn't hold it anymore" before surgery. I seem to have that problem a lot and stress with mini panic attacks when I'm in public :(
Anyway, I was having horrible anxiety about leaving the house prior to surgery. I literally didn't want to get in my car because I would automatically feel like I had to go. I think it may have been more mental than anything, but I was going constantly. I had more accidents in my car toward the end than I want to admit to. It was such a horrible experience. I am so glad that I won't have to deal with that anymore. I didn't even want to go to friends houses because I was tied to the toilet. You're definitely not alone!
