I am in the process of selecting a donor, I found 3. One donor has no issue, the 2nd donor has had an abortion which I am so so against and the 3rd donor has had chlamydia (spelling), scares me to think her eggs may not be top quality!! Are these issues that I should be concerned about??? This is my first time selecting a donor so I am not sure!! The only one potential donor that is almost perfect is currently finishing up a cycle and facility said they won't know her stats for another week or 2 and even though I can wait, I'm not feeling good vibes about the facility, I feel as they are brushing me off :-( and since she is just finishing up a donor I am not sure if she will be willing to do another back to back!! Most notable about your post; however, is the comment you made about not feeling good vibes about the facility. I would say that is a red flag. This is a very difficult process to go through, and if you are not feeling right about the facility, you will probably not feel right about a lot of things. First and foremost, is the clinic reputable? Good success rates? These factors may be more important than bedside manner when using them as a means to an end. (I assume it is the RE clinic you are talking about). Sometimes the staff at these clinics forget that this is all an incredibly big deal to those of us going through it and they don't give us the attention or response we would like. Or maybe an alternative clinic would be a better fit for you. ? Not sure if any of this is helpful but I hope so.
