I take Diamox and was prescribed antidepressants. I do not take them because I am fine now, but most are fine with Diamox.

I don't think there's one that is bad with diamox. It's about whats goof for you. I use to be on Lexapro.

My daughter takes diamox for psudotumor cerebri she constantly experiences a bloody nose and her appetite has decreased tremendously she has lost about 3.5 lbs. I wouldnt recommend this drug to anyone.

My daughter started Diamox on Monday. for IIH. Today she had terrible stomach pains and diarhea. but her headache is gone! Took 6 days, and her opening pressure was 51cm. but I can't wait til she's off of this drug.

I took Lexapro several years ago and it worked well for me. But I had to take a really long time to wean off of it when I was ready to stop taking it. And still I had wierd side effects. Be sure to take your time weaning off of it.

I also take diamox for PTC for 5 months but when I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking it for the rest of my pregnancy, after having my daughter my Nero and opt wamtted me to started back on the diamox 250 mg 4 times a day, still have pressure feeling in my head but now I'm nervous about the side effects on my kidney. And lexapro 10mg 1 a day, and it worked wonders for me, i was a le to focus on a new begining and not just living with PTC. Anyone have kidney side effects?

i am on diamox and also have taken zoloft for year. i have actually recently noticed that it seems my zoloft is not at its full effect. i plan to talk with my neuro about it at my next appoinment.

The Diamox has been useless for me :(

I have not been on the Diamox for long or the Celexa for depression and anxiety, but so far I have not had any probs on either drug. The only thing I've noticed with the Diamox is tingling in legs in feet that go away after about a half and hour and the taste bud sensation with carb. sodas.....I know that's now too helpful because I haven't been on them long but just thought I'd let you know what I've experienced so far....Take Care..Kim

i take 500mg of Diamox once a day (my dr would like for me to increase that but I won't). At first, it was awful... tingling hands and face enough to drive you crazy but that seldom happens now unless I miss my potassium. Diamox makes your potassium lower and especially if on a diuretic too. I have been on a diuretic a long time so when starting Diamox, it made my potassium way too low so now I take 6 potassium, 10 meq in the morning and another 6 in the evening to keep my potassium at even the bottom levels of normal but the tingling has stopped and I don't feel as overwhelmingly tired. The tingling is much better too but I would have to say that being tired all the time is the worst side effect... really sleepy. My dr tried me off of Diamox for 3 months but my papilledema got much worse again and my headaches were worse too so back on it I went.

I take Lexapro and it works fine with the diamox

I am on DIamox have NO appetite as food tastes BAD to me.. and also a,ot of depression.. which may also be from the fact I still have NO energy, Pulsatile tinnitus and dizzyness if I bend over or when I wake up... I am on 500 MG. No headaches though.. or neck pain and clearer vision so it must be helping some.
