This is discussion group for those who have been or know someone who has been diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertention.
Found you in the PTC group!! I have IIH, they said it was triggered by intense stress (that's their best guess). I was diagnosed in 2009 after a spinal tap. It was normal but relieved my headache for 5hrs, after that I have a non-stop migraine daily and have lost some vision. They said my normal pressure is high for me and low for everyone else is normal for me. So that's where I'm at. I lost my job due to too many ER visits in one week, am 19, and a full time college student on 1000mg of Diamox daily.

I lost my job I went to the hosp[ital 3 times in a week.
And my vision is shit, and my brain is too.
And LP's only work for about a day for me, and then it's back, quick as it's gone.
I had to stop going to school..I missed too much, and had like a million and one neuro appts..
