Infertility, Secondary Support Group
"Secondary infertility" is difficulty conceiving after already having conceived and carried a normal pregnancy. Apart from various medical conditions (e.g. hormonal), this may come as a result of age and stress felt to provide a sibling for their first child.
Hi,
I've been charting since Day 1 of my cycle. My temps in C are as follows:
Day1 - 36.6
Days 2- 10 temps ranged from 36.0 to 36.3 in no particular order, up and down.
Day 11 - yesterday 36.1
Day 12 - today 36.4
Yesterday I noticed some slight spotting (from the HSG test on Wednesday) but my CM is clear, like egg white and fairly elastic.
Did an OPK yesterday afternoon but it was neg, very faint line next to the control line but definitely not darker than the control line;
What do you think?
Am I a) about to ovulate in the next few days b) ovulating now c) already ovulated?
It's so confusing and I don't want to miss my window of opportunity :(
I hardly ever have the EWCM so I was quite surprised to see that yesterday. Maybe it's to do with the HSG test Wednesday?

All good signs and don't be afraid to try now. My IF doctor told me to start on day 12 and every other day after that, but make sure to try on the day of your surge and after. Good luck!
So would you count 36.1 to 36.4 as the surge?
I'm also slightly concerned that I'm still taking antibiotics following the HSG exam on Wednesday. I have to take them every night until Sunday :( Can't get in touch with my Dr until next week and I'd hate to miss this month because of the meds. No-one has told me NOT to try so I' thinking that we will anyway. I have so few months left to try anyway and it would be a shame to waste one:)
I did an OPK test yesterday at 15:00 so I'm about to try again. Will see what happens. If it's + then I'm trying for sure. Would be nice to go back to the Dr on 7th May with a BFP :)))

I have an US today to see how well I responded to my 3rd round of Clomid...so hopefully there are a couple folicles ready.
