My sister-in-law is in the hospital right now, about to give birth to her baby pre-maturely. I feel bad for her naturally, but also so angry because of a few "habits" that she has that she continued throughout pregnancy. I believe they may be the cause of her contractions and soft cervix, only 28 weeks into her pregnancy. Because of this, I can't get up the courage to go and visit her. I can't do it. Here we are, trying sooooo hard to have our second baby, with problem after problem...and she's pregnant and doing things that she shouldn't be doing, that endanger her child every day. I can't even put into words how angry and upset I am right now. I don't want to feel this way, but I feel like I can't put the feelings aside. I'm just depressed. Babies are everywhere today for some reason. My mother-in-law told me today that our cousin is pregnant. A friend of mine had a new little boy today. My co-worker and good friend is pregnant. AND my sister-in-law is in the hospital, ready to deliver anytime in the next few days. I feel like I'm surrounded, and the only one who isn't pregnant! I'm trying not to throw myself a little pity party, but I'm just so depressed and jealous about all of it. I keep thinking, "Why the heck are they all so lucky?" I imagine everyone here gets like this sometimes...am I right? Could use some support right now from people that understand.
