"Secondary infertility" is difficulty conceiving after already having conceived and carried a normal pregnancy. Apart from various medical conditions (e.g. hormonal), this may come as a result of age and stress felt to provide a sibling for their first child.

My husband and I are having trouble getting pregnant. We don't know what we are doing wrong. We both have had children in the past, so we know that there "shouldn't" be an issue with conceiving. I've had a total of 7 pregnancies, with 4 live births and 3 miscarriages, one of them was in the 2nd trimester and the other 2 were early on. He has a daughter from a previous marriage. We've been trying for several months now, using ovulation kits and having sex every day and still no luck. we're not sure what to do now and I'm starting to feel hopeless in the situation. Any advice or supportive words would be much appreciated.

We have been trying for about 6 months, my youngest just turned 3 this last march and I've never been on any type of birth control. It's looking like I had a "Chemical pregnancy" this time around. I have an appointment with my OB/GYN ont he 10th and I'm hopeful that we can get some more answers then
