"Secondary infertility" is difficulty conceiving after already having conceived and carried a normal pregnancy. Apart from various medical conditions (e.g. hormonal), this may come as a result of age and stress felt to provide a sibling for their first child.
Hi there,im a little confused and reaching out for a little advice/support. I have a 13yr old child and have been trying ttc for yrs now after investigation,laproscope shoed blockage of one tube and scaring to the other-surgeon said ivf bestchance.consultant tried clomid,hsg which showed one open tube??clomid worked well on my eggs but nothing happened due to the tubes,from time to time the whole situation really gets me down n I pass through the emotions/feelings untill im feeling better.has anyone else had problems with tubes?i read that if a tube is blocked it can leak fluid and leave the womb unhostile? My consultant never mentioned this to me so mayb im just reading into it! Ivf has a prospective 60 percent sucsess rate for me but I just feel soso scared of the financial/emeotional implications .a family member has offeredd to surrogate for us,its an amazing chance and gift,has anyone got any experience of surrogacy? I also worry about how to tell people following the birth-god willing it works,should we go ahead. Prayers and best wishes to u all.
Before all of this I wanted to be a surrogate for women who are going through what I am now going through lol I find that kind of funny. I think that if you can emoitionally handle having someone carry your child you should do it. I love being pregnant and would want to be able to carry my child but in the future if I am not able to that would be an option because in the end I want another child.
