Incontinence in Men Community Group
I am a 30 year old man who suffers from bladder control problems. I would like to talk to other men who also suffer from it.

My incontinence is similar to yours...however, i do have some control enough to manage urinating in the toilet. How often i make it depends on the day. But, i cannot escape wearing protection. I wear Tena ultra.. a diaper that is considered to be moderately absorbent.. But i have had floods where there is at least 16 oz of urine in the idaper..this happens when i get up in the morning sometimes..thus sometimes if i feel i need it i put boosters in the diaper.
I have been more or less in diapers since last august. Despite the doctors trying to help, im basically in the same situation i was when i started seeking treatment. It started out as dribbles and got progressivley worse. I do have some control, but it varies greatly.

I have been there too. I dribbles at first and after time total lack of control. My doctors had me try using a catheter but for me they are too uncomfortable to wear. Consequently I went to using disposables. After time I was being plagued with leaks and went to wearing cloth diapers and plastic pants and have had no problems since.

I started with some light dribbling which I tried to ignore. Then suddenly I started wetting the bed again at first only occasionally but within weeks it was most if not every night. It wasn't long before my daytime control started to diminish and I wear protection all the time now. I use tena plus or extra pads during the day and maxi pads at night which work most of the time. I am very lucky to have a loving and supportive wife who is not at all bothered about my incontinence and still is happy to share a bed with me.

In 2013 I had an accident resulting in spinal injury at the base of my neck with paralysis from there down, spasticity (muscle contractions and spasms) and double incontinence. Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...
