So now that your in the program and your off that pesky list what else is there to do? Well now the real fun begins. The first thing you may do is take a job assesment test to see what your good at doing. Be advised that not all areas may try to match you with jobs from this list, some jobs do have things they look at that can hurt you, such as bankruptcy.
In the case that your still not sure what you want to do and your case worker has some options your not sure about, ask about a job assesment program in the community they may cover. I went through one that was 6 days and got paid for it. This is to see what your good at and what your strength/weaknesses can be. Some of these do let people stay on and are covered, some may not be so remember to ask your case worker about this.
Please remember you may not get a job right away and it is very important to be up front and honest with your case worker when they present you with jobs. But I would advise to talk to the potential employer as well and see from them what the job is for. If you don't think you can do it, don't do it unless you want to give it a try and see how it goes. Communications is important in all forms of relationships and should not be different in this case. Don't dive into something your not ready for, take it from me, I did this once and got in trouble with my voc rehab person.

if you have any back trouble don't take a job standing. Or even back trouble. If your gonna do it do it where it can last a long time.

very true and back issues are a pain the arse, but then again that's where my back pain comes from :)

I really wish that when I went into voc rehab I had someone telling me stuff, that's why I want to do this. There is so much that I could have done sooner then later because my case worker didn't tell me. Next up will be tuesday edition.

I certainly are with you there. Back pain is a pain in the butt.
