The last month and a half have not been easy for me. last month my ex told me after almost 10 years we were through. Let's just say that I got a big suprise that I was not ready for and had to move asap. The night she called it off I wound up in the e.r. and the day after I moved(5 days after she told me) I was back in the e.r again. I have what is called gerds on top of everything else which was creating to much stomach acid and making me sick. The next day, the 11th, the only aunt I care about and love on my mom's side of the family died. I had planed on seeing her the next day.
There have been a lot of ups and downs which have caused me not to be on here. Mecial testing and a lot of issues have just kept me from doing what I have wanted to do. Depression sucks, big time. The one real saving grace is reconnecting more with my girlfriend from high school. While she is married, we have talked a lot and been talking through text. She understands my hearing situtaition.
Today I filled out an application for Target, to see about getting a job, and had help from Voc Rehab. An hour and a half after filling it out I got a call for an interview. Tomorrow I go see if my hearing aids can be adjusted so I don't have to listen at the ungodly level the last guy left them at, I had no idea until later they were so high, because I hadn't used them in a while. No one at the office knew the technology behind them. Hopefuly this new person down here does.
I was only able to bring one of my cats and my old roommate decided he was going to keep the other, there is nothing I can do, my ex doesn't even want me to have him back. It's the way life goes I guess. I am back and will be back in full force once this week winds down. More testing and who knows what else.
